Record and Share Video of Your Project
It is easy to record video of your Torch project to share on social media or to use in presentations or to import into 2D screen prototyping tools. If you want to record the interactive part of your prototype, you can use the in-app record feature. The steps below are still helpful if you want to record the Design Environment.
First, make sure you've added the Screen Recording control to the Control Screen. Go to Settings-->Control Center-->Customize Controls and drag the Screen Recording icon into Include section.
Next, open the Project in Torch that you wish to record. Make sure you are in an environment suitable to your recording, swipe to access the Control Center, and hit the Screen Recording icon.
Dismiss the Control Center screen, tap the Play mode button in Torch, and start recording your prototype with all the interactions.
When you are done, swipe to access the Control Center screen and tap the Screen Recording icon again to stop recording.
You can trim the video to remove any extraneous footage following these steps:
- Launch the Photos app from your Home screen.
- Tap on the video you'd like to edit.
- Tap the edit button at the top right of the screen. .
- Tap and hold on the left or right side of the timeline to engage the trimming tool.
